About Us

Aabharnam foundation is led by Neha Verma, who comes from a lineage of craftspeople and storytellers. Over the years, she has worked with many artisans across India — preserving endangered techniques while creating sustainable livelihoods. More than a brand, Aabharnam is a platform for cultural preservation. It brings together craft, design, and community through workshops, collaborations, exhibitions, and craft-led tourism. From hand woven Indian textiles to intricate murals, Aabharnam curates and celebrates the finest of Indian craftsmanship — rooted in heritage, designed for those who value authenticity, elegance, and purpose.

Our Family Legacy

Aabharnam is rooted in our family’s story — a legacy of craft passed down through generations. We grew up in the heart of Old Delhi, surrounded by the textures, tools, and rhythm of handmade work. From shaping clay to stitching history, our grandfather used to tailor garments for Former Honourable PM Lal Bahadur Shastri, and our father carried forward that legacy—refining each thread with the same reverence, care, and timeless discipline. This deep-rooted exposure to technique and tradition shaped Aabharnam’s foundation: a brand built on legacy, shaped by memory, and committed to keeping heritage alive through the hands that carry it forward.

Our Identity

Aabharnam is built on the principles of heritage revival, direct-to-artisan collaboration, and the empowerment of women in craft. We work exclusively in limited editions, with each piece crafted by hand and rooted in cultural depth. While sarees are central to our work, our practice extends into textiles, visual storytelling, and spatial design. At the heart of it all is a belief that craft has the power to sustain communities and preserve legacy.

Key Collaborations

1. AARYANS – South Extension Part 2, Delhi

A full-scale collaboration with AARYANS included brand setup, retail merchandising, brand collaterals, content styling, photoshoot execution, and social media direction.
Every aspect of the project — from conceptual storytelling and product curation to visual identity and experiential design — was carefully crafted to reflect the brand’s ethos of heirloom luxury and Indian craftsmanship. Through thoughtful design, immersive styling, and a deep respect for artisanal tradition, Aabharnam ensured that AARYANS’ in South Delhi became a true celebration of slow fashion and timeless textiles.

2. TEH Bazaar – Sunder Nursery, Delhi

Aabharnam Foundation had the distinct honour of curating TEH Bazaar at the 25th edition of Jahan-e-Khusrau, a globally celebrated festival of Sufi music and heritage. Founded by Meera and Muzaffar Ali, Jahan-e-Khusrau stands as a cultural landmark, celebrating the mystique of Sufi traditions through music, poetry, and timeless arts. TEH Bazaar, in its third edition, was envisioned as a soulful marketplace -seamlessly blending heritage crafts with the spiritual essence of the festival. Curated by Aabharnam, the bazaar featured master artisans from across India, representing the traditional techniques, and indigenous craftsmanship. Aabharnam also showcased its signature collection - a tribute to slow fashion and the enduring beauty of Indian textile traditions. The confluence of music, mysticism, and master craftsmanship created a truly immersive cultural experience- one that celebrated both legacy and innovation.
